In case of new investments in developing countries, Florimer.nl shall as first study the possibilities of application of the PRIVATE SECTOR INVESTMENT program (PSI program), formerly known as the Program Cooperating Emerging Markets (PSOM). The PSI program is funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Economic Affairs with the aim of achieving sustainable economic development in developing countries that are part of the program.

The program provides a 50% by the government not reimbursable financing, with a maximum investment budget of € 1,500,000.

Some of the conditions that in a PSI project  are required:

· The project is a pilot nature and therefore it may not provide the entire country of the total needs. The project should lead to further activity in the same industry.

· The project must not cause unfair competition in the relevant countries. In other words, public funding should not cause a competitive advantage.

· The project is a joint venture established between two healthy companies. Often, a Dutch company and a local company.

Furthermore, the project should meet certain social conditions.

Florimer.nl represents a wealth of experience in this program and has a high success rate with respect to applications of PSI funding.
